he United States Private Investigators Association was created by Edward Harpenau in response to a complaint that an attorney expressed. She commented that it was extremely difficult to find a process server in another state. She tried
to call directory assistance, but without the exact name of the process server, the operator was unable to help her. The attorney knew that the sheriff's department in that county could serve the papers, but she felt that a private
process server would do a more thorough job. With that knowledge, Mr. Harpenau decided to create a directory which has become invaluable to attorneys trying to locate Private Investigators throughout the United States.
In this web page you will find over 1,200 Private Investigators in all areas of the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. If you have trouble finding one in the area that you need, please feel free to call our office Monday-Friday
9:00am-3:00pm central standard time. If you are E-mailing your request, please include your company name, address, telephone, fax and contact person. Also, we will need the city, state and county (if possible) of the person you need
served. All e-mail requests will be faxed, e-mailed or phoned into your office by the next business day. There is no charge for referrals.
When using a process server, please remember to mention that you found their company through the United States Private Investigators Association.
United States Private Investigators Association does not warrant the work product of its members, nor does it share in the fees obtained from their clients. All fee arrangements are between the client and the private investigator.
